LAMDA

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”46px”][vc_column_text]The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art or LAMDA for short hold private examinations in subjects related to communication and the performing arts.

Here at Dreams we coach students through these exams outside of our regular class times and enter students once a year. We have a 100% pass rate with 80% of our 2012 students gaining Distinction.

We currently coach students in Acting, Musical Theatre, and the Speaking of Verse and Prose. Other exams available are Reading for performance and Public speaking, Mime, devising and Group examinations to name a few.

These exams and the rehearsal time needed is an extra cost to our usual classes and is dependent on the level the student is entered at. Students can start taking exams from the age of 5 years and can carry on eventually gaining UCAS points with higher graded examinations which are accredited.

Rehearsals for individual or duo LAMDA exams take place most Saturdays during the Autumn term. The Only examinations available to our Monday students are Group exams.

If you would like any more information on LAMDA examinations, please Contact us or you can view lamda.org.uk for their up to date syllabus and examination specifications.
